Varigrind Layout

The Oneway Vari-Grind jig enables consistent sharpening of bowl and spindle gouges, usually set with a 2-inch tool projection and a 23° leg angle (approx. 4th notch down) for standard grinds. Key settings involve adjusting the leg angle and V-arm distance to achieve a consistent bevel and wing shape, often using a shop-made block to reproduce the setup.

Bandsaw Blade Tensioner – EZtension

This unique bandsaw tension gauge uses a pair of rare earth magnets that easily and quickly attach to your bandsaw blade. Its central fulcrum deflects the blade a precise amount. When the blade reaches proper tension (15,000 psi), one of the magnets detaches from the blade. Use it to accurately tension carbon steel blades from 1/4” up to 3/4” on bandsaws with 6” or greater depth of cut.
